What I got from my Free Personal Training Session

Hello again! I know a lot of you are probably confused on why I changed things up. I needed a way to keep myself accountable and get back into the healthy lifestyle I want to live. So as I’m going through this new journey ill be sharing it all with you! 

So I’ve done two workouts since re-starting this blog. I’m going to go over them and talk about what I worked and why I worked it. 

We just recently got a gym membership to help motivate us to go back to the gym. Nothing better than paying an arm and a leg to go torture yourself right? So with our new membership we each got a free training session with a personal trainer. I waned to target my legs and booty, while starting that hour glass figure. Dont make fun of my terms! Here is what my trainer had me do: 

  • 10 squats
  • 10 knee highs on a platform
  • 10 squats
  • 10 kettle bell swings
  • 10 knee highs on a platfofm
  • 20 lunges 
  • 10 kettle bell swings
  • 10 peeing dog butt kicks 
  • 20 lunges
  • 10 peeing dog butt kicks 
  • 40 lunges 
  • 10 squats on a balance board
  • 10 peeing dog butt kicks
  • 10 squats on a balance board 

I was soooo sore after this workout. For like 2 days. It worked my legs really great,  and my booty. That’s where all my pain was. This turned out to be a really great workout for me it just time some recovery time. Once I recovered though we went back to the gym and we tried a few new things. I thought I took it easy but I was still pretty sore the next day. 

  • 5 minutes of cardio on spin bikes
  • 10 kettle bell swings
  • 15 kettle bell swings
  • 20 kettle bell swings
  • 10 arm raises with 5lbs
  • 15 arm raises with 5lbs
  • 20 arm raises with 5lbs
  • 10 butt kicks on machine each leg
  • 15 butt kicks on machine each leg
  • 15 butt kicks on machine each leg
  • 25 sit ups with 10lb ball
  • 25 sit ups with 10lb ball 

This workout I actually felt very insecure and half way through found out my pants were see though when I bent over. Yay leggings. Any other ladies have this problem?! 

I also would like to announce that my brother in law Christian Juell, a certified personal trainer, will be helping me with workouts and advice as well!
